What have in common contemporary artist and the art of the past? Can art history be a source of inspiration for new generations? This is the concept behind the exhibition project conceived by MASBEDO (Nicolò Massazza, Milan 1973, Iacopo Bedogni, Sarzana 1970) for the Museo Civico di Castelbuono.

The exhibition, curated by Laura Barreca and Paola Nicolin, presents four works: Fragile (2016), a mono-channel video produced by the Royal Museums of the Galleria Sabauda in Turin and shown here on monitors; Handle with care (2016), originally conceived as a 6-screen video installation and specifically reworked for the establishment of Castelbuono as a complex photographic installation; the mono-channel video Madame Pinin (2017), unpublished production of MASBEDO and, finally, Posters of false colors (2017), multimedia installation, also the latter made site-specific.
