Manifesta 12: 3 days of free events in occasion of the European nomad biennial
Manifesta, the European biennial of contemporary art, is around the corner. It will take place in Palermo from the 16th of June to the 4th of November 2018. The biennial will offer a great number of paid cultural events, exhibitions and installations but during the previous events and the day after the offical opening many events will be free.
Starting from the 14th of June at 17 with Laura Poitras, Oscar prize winner for the best documentary with "Citizenfour" who will have a conversation with the Danish journalist Henrik Moltke at Teatro Garibaldi. AT 8 pm there will be the Opening of Manifesta 12 Studuis at Mulino di Sant'Antonio, the exhibition dedicated to the project of Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli, Creative Mediator of Manifesta 12 and OMA partner.
The performance of the artist Nora Turato is scheduled on the 15th at 12 pm at Oratorio di San Lorenzo and at 3.30 pm there is the Jelili Atiku's, pioneer of the contemporary art in Nigeriam which will start from Foro Italico until 4 Canti. The opening of Education Hub in piazza magione is expected at 3.30 pm, project of the Education department of Manifesta.
